The Great Coincedence
Enjoying the pleasures of gravity - and making the most of the Takaka hill and it’s 257 corners
A satisfied crew after the 2016 Kevin Hebberd memorial run.
The annual run usually takes place the week before the Mussel Inn opens for the new season in early September. Machines are to have at least 3 wheels and the driver must be able to lift the machine off the ground. Good brakes are handy, good steering is essential (rope steering doesn't really cut it). We share the road with other users - so we ride it like we'd drive it. It is not an organised race - there are no trophys or prizes - just bucket loads of fun. Everyone takes responsibility for themselves and anyone can get involved.
See you up there!
